MNV consultancy has won an important contract from the Tweed Forum to study the causes of the recent adjustment of the Bowmont Water river channel and advise on future flood risk management solutions in the Bowmont Water/River Glen sub-catchment.

Research carried out by MNV groundwater hydrologist Sally Homoncik through Edinburgh University and the British Geological Survey, compiled a database of the distribution of manganese (Mn), a naturally occurring trace metal, in Scottish groundwater.
